workshop through Zoom and the subject will be the magnificent
New England countryside in winter. Light, shadow, value and
composition will be emphasized. The instructor will begin with a
demonstration, explaining each step of the process. Students
will then paint with the instructor providing hands on
assistance. There will be a critique given at the end of the
session. Students will need to download the Zoom app. The
instructor will email the image he will be demo-ing from to the
class a couple days prior to the workshop.

This quilting
class is for both beginning quilters and quilters who want to
improve their skills. Beginners will make a compete quilt top in
the 12 weeks. Students will learn the correct methods of
cutting, sewing, and pressing to produce a finished product they
are proud of. More experienced quilters will learn tips and
tricks for better quilting. All this plus loads of fun and
laughs. A sewing machine will be needed for class and fabric
will be purchased after the first class.

You are welcome to use our Yamaha studio upright acoustic piano
or acoustic Martin guitar. We can play your MP3 backing track
through our sound system. You are welcome to bring amps and
drums BUT set up and break down is part of your 10 minutes. The
host draws names from a bowl at 7:30. The first person drawn
gets first choice of timeslot, second gets second choice, etc.
The host will add you to the end of the roster if you arrive by
8:30 PM.
•Full table service (see menu). No alcohol.
•Play Nice! We foster a diverse community that has a great time
making art and helping one another get better. Excessive
profanity, explicit sexual themes, and “humor” that unkindly
targets a specific group undermines this goal. It is up to the
discretion of the host to enforce the house standards.
